‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! Buckle up, you’re in for a bumpy ride. “I don’t have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad.” –Network (1976). Normally I bite my tongue and attempt to keep my content focused and professional as possible by keeping comments and personal opinions to myself (potential WW3 and COVID-19…). However, if we don’t voice ourselves on this particular issue we are a part of the problem. And if my sponsors/editors censor me that Read more

‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! This week I did something a little different: I checked the stocks daily cherry picking sensationally high price spike percentages so if you see a card that is currently half the price of what I’m about to report, that’s why. LET’S GO! [scryimg] vexing shusher [/scryimg] Vexing Shusher from Shadowmoor up 428% now 56.99$ from 10.79$ No, not that shusher. Vexing Shusher silly! Limited print run making it susceptible to price manipulation which was exactly the Read more

‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! Crazy times we are living in right now, it makes me dizzy at times. Anyways, companion cards are still causing controversy as we await a B&R announcement. Buying copies of Lurrus @ 25$ each is not where I’d want to be right now. Same goes for Mishra’s Bauble: if you bought into them during the Lurrus hype I feel for you son b/c a month ago the Iconic Masters versions were 8$. In other news… [scryimg] Read more

‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! I know, I’ve been slackin’ but hey, life happens…🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyways, we got a few movers and shakers this week so let’s take a look! 😀 [scryimg] winds of change [/scryimg] Winds of Change from 4th Ed. up 110% now 21$ from 9.97$ Winds of Change from 5th Ed. up 100% now 23.99$ from 11.98$ First of all, if you have ever played this card before you know how fun (and evil) it feels to play after Read more

‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! It’s time for another card stocks analysis from this past week. In the words of Mario, “Let’s-a go!” [scryimg] uba mask [/scryimg] Uba Mask from Champions of Kamigawa up 514% now 5.35$ from 0.87¢ Ooo, hot doggy! Uba Mask makes a nasty combo with the new card Drannith Magistrate. The Mask makes you exile each card you draw and you can cast them from there but the Magistrate puts a stop to that so basically no Read more

‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! We had a pretty busy week actually and some significant 💰% movement. Without further ado, LET’S GO! 😀 [scryimg] cephalid constable [/scryimg] Cephalid Constable from 10th Ed. up 1,019% now 19.37$ from 1.73$ Cephalid Constable from Judgment up 809% now 9.09$ from 1.00$ Okie dokie, this card is up an ungodly amount this week because it got a Command Zone mention, has only two printings, and makes for groovy good-times in the Otrimi mutate deck. Ikoria Top Picks w/ Burt Macklin

‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! It’s that time of the year again… SPOILER SEASON! So here I go again by acting like I know what I’m doing/talking about and I’m going to ramble off some cards that tickle my fancy. *As always: The cards that I’ve picked are not always or necessarily the best and most powerful cards in the set. These are just cards that I like for one reason or another whether it be for competitive Modern purposes, silly Read more

Mad Magic w/ Burt Macklin ft. Jackson DeHaven

‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! Today I’m trying something different. My roommate Jackson DeHaven just so happens to be a voice actor and we thought it might be cool to try a video version of my article. I have OCD and hate the sound of my own voice so we are giving this a shot. I…*we* hope you enjoy! [scryimg] decree of annihilation [/scryimg] Decree of Annihilation from Scourge up 423% now 9.99$ from 1.91$ This card is up a butt Read more

‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! I told myself I wasn’t going to talk about Coronavirus but I have to (kind of). Card prices across the board have taken a dip and in some cases, are at an all-time-low. TARMOGOYFS ARE LIKE 35$ RIGHT NOW!?!? I might start buying them for stocking stuffers… Lilly is down to 47$ from 60$ on avg. It looks like most every thing is down about 25% because of the lack of paper play right now. Wait Read more

‘Ello ladles and jellyspoons! Oy vey! Do I even have to say it? It’s all anyone is talking about which sucks because I’m all about paper magic. I literally just hit refresh on SCG’s event schedule from looking at it last night and 3x more events were cancelled 🙁 What can you do though? Oh well, enough doom and gloom: LET’S TALK ABOUT SOME CARDS! 😀 [scryimg] ugins nexus [/scryimg] Ugin’s Nexus up 235% now 2.99$ from 0.89¢ Seeing play Read more
