Prismatic Defender® started in New York in 2017 with two best friends and a childhood filled with trading card games.
We grew up collecting Pokémon, playing Yu-Gi-Oh!, and eventually building far too many Magic: The Gathering decks. After a year of planning and testing our first line of holographic sleeves, we brought them to the Magic Grand Prix in Washington, DC. The enthusiastic response was proof that people were ready for something different. What began in our garages developed into a full product line, a warehouse, and a brand carried by game stores and distributors around the world.
These days, Prismatic Defender® has grown into something much bigger than a side hustle. The business is run full time from the Cleveland area, with nearly every part of the brand handled in-house, from product development and inventory to customer service, wholesale, and the occasional warehouse dance party. Our products are designed for collectors, Commander players, kitchen-table heroes, and anyone who just likes shiny things.
We take the work seriously, and we love making things that players and collectors can get excited about, with more ways to express themselves. Holographic Card Sleeves will always be our main bread and butter, but we’re proud to now offer Holographic Perfect Fits, Standard and Japanese-size Matte Card Sleeves, Deck Boxes, Penny Sleeves, Toploaders, Playmats, and other TCG accessories.
